After signing up, the survey is accessible to any internet user with access to the survey URL address. To obtain answers you must share the automatically generated survey URL address with anyone you wish to take part in your survey. A survey URL address can be placed on your own website, onto which the entire survey can be embedded.
Access to your survey can also be restricted:
- Survey access can be restricted in the settings with a single code for all respondents, accessed in the tab 'EDIT' – 'Settings' – 'Respondent access'.
- Survey access can be restricted through individual codes, sent by email (or through another channel) to a specific respondent. To do this you will need permission to send email invitations. Once you obtain the permission, you can assign passwords to respondents. Passwords are only available to 2KA and 3KA private package users. Through the use of the email system, access to respondents may be limited to a specific respondent group or restrict survey access to others.
- Survey access can be limited to CMS users, where the 1KA application is installed (the default option is Sisplet CMS, but the 1KA application is installed in Joomla! and Moodle as well). For example, for a survey created on www.1ka.si/d/en, you can restrict access only to users who are registered on www.1ka.si/d/en.
Several additional options are available, such as allowing a respondent to return to a previous question after completing the survey, cookie duration, respondent IP address recognition, etc. For additional settings follow 'EDIT' – 'Settings' – 'Respondent access'.
Survey URL address can be restricted to pop-up window invitations only for visitors of a specific website.
