In the 'EDIT' – 'Questionnaire'' tab, in the settings of the 'Single answer table' question type, you can select the option to customise the table, which means that you can set each sub-question in the table to be displayed separately to the respondent. The respondent will automatically move to the next sub-question by selecting an answer for the current sub-question. Alternatively, the respondent can scroll through the sub-questions themselves (depending on the customisation choice).
To enable this option, select the desired customisation of the table on the computer and on the mobile device in the settings of the 'Single answer table' question type, on the right-hand side, in the 'Advanced' tab, under 'Properties'. In addition to the default setting, you can choose between the following customisation modes: Grid, Scroll, Unfolding and Horizontal Unfolding.
This option is recommended especially in the case of respondents completing the survey via mobile devices. If you keep the default settings, the question will be automatically adapted to the 'Scroll' format when respondents answer it via mobile devices.
