Cookie policy is part of general terms of 1KA use, with which you must agree if you agree to cookie policy.

I. COOKIES FOR THE RESPONDENT

By default, cookies are not used during the implementation of survey research with 1KA and therefore do not store on a personal computer of respondent.

If the author of the survey explicitly chooses the option that cookies are used when completing the survey (e.g. that respondent can suspend the survey and continues later), each respondent in accordance with Article 157 of the Electronic Communications Act-1 is notified and has the option to either accept or reject the usage of cookies. Without explicit consent of the respondent to use cookies for the purposes of carrying out surveys, cookies are not installed on respondents’ computer. If the respondent agrees to the use of cookies, a cookie called “survey” installs on his computer with imputed number of survey and durability of up to one month.

II. COOKIES FOR SURVEYS' AUTHORS

Certain cookies are necessary for the operation of 1KA.si services. They enable for service to remember the user and offers him creating the surveys and adjusting the settings. In a basic sign-in the cookies are temporary (session), which are deleted after the users’ session is closed.

1KA does not use cookies to follow the user for the purpose of web analytics on visits to the site.

In case of permanent login in 1KA.si – here we consider the option “Remember me” and login via Facebook and Google plug-ins – the user, in accordance with Article 157 of the Electronic Communications Act-1, is warned that the cookies need to be installed for the provision of such functionality. Without the consent of user, cookies that ensure the permanent login will not be installed in his computer. If the user agrees to use cookies to ensure the permanent login, this will enable to retrieve stored settings when returning to the site. This will enable user a single login without re-entering username and password at each subsequent visit.
