  • carrying out surveys easily,
  • metadata and paradata offer an exact insight into respondent samples (e.g. how much time was needed to answer a question or the entire questionnaire)

The drawbacks of web surveys are particularly connected to:

  • representativeness,
  • non-response issues,
  • non-coverage and sampling issues,
  • measurement issues.
