On September 25, 2019, 9.00-12.30, the Faculty of Social Sciences will host the Web Survey Day (WSD) for the eighth time at the University of Ljubljana. The event is organized by the Centre for Social Informatics (CDI) and is intended for a wider professional audience of online survey users and users of the online survey tool 1KA.
The event will be, as in previous years, divided into two parts. In the first part of the plenary lectures, the main guest will be prof. Mick Couper (University of Michigan, US), a leading online survey expert, presenting the current challenges of the online survey methodology. Head of the project 1KA, prof. doc. Vasja Vehovar will present the main changes in the field of online survey and development of 1KA, with a special emphasis on new functionalities and issues of GDPR.
The second part will be followed by parallel seminars for the different segments of 1KA users. In particular, we will present the adaptations and use of advanced modules for companies and organizations.

A major upgrade of the online survey tool 1KA (version 18.1.8) was carried out. Many improvements of existing functionalities and implemented new functionalities were developed in the period from October 2017 to January 2018.
Since 2012, members of University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Centre for Social Informatics organise the event Web Survey Day. The event has over 200 attendees each year.
