Why are the respondents' answers lost if they return to the previous page of a table question with the horizontal scrolling layout optimization?

If the 'Horizontal Scrolling' layout optimization for tables is enabled, the sub-questions in the 'Table - Single answer' question type will be displayed to the respondent in a stepwise manner.

It may happen that the respondent returns to the previous page while answering the questions in the table. In this case, the answers given for each sub-question in the table will not be saved.

For example, if a respondent has answered three of the five sub-questions in the table and then returned to, for example, the first page, the data of the sub-questions they answered will not be stored, as all sub-questions together form one question. And, as with all other questions, it is necessary to click on the next page button if you want the answers to be saved.
