How Is the Tool Tested?
The 1KA application has been developed continuously for purposes of research since 2008.
To date, more than 280,000 surveys have been generated using the 1KA application. The application has always been 100% reliable when it comes to the process of collecting data – none of the surveys or any data has ever been lost.
Due to its distinct Web 2.0 orientation and extensive use of the JavaScript programming language, the application takes an intuitive, interactive and efficient approach (main attributes of the 1KA application) when it comes to survey composition, which means that performance issues might occur when the internet bandwidth is slower or with the use of older internet browsers. Modern internet browsers, for which the application is being tested, are recommended: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer (version 9 or newer).
The application uses responsive web design for easier use on smartphones and tablet computers.
