End User Integration Working Group survey

This survey is created by the ABC4EU project partner Laurea University of Applied Sciences. It's purpose is to gather more information on the future use, expectations and opinions from the potential stakeholders within the project.

The survey is conducted in accordance with the EU regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Personal data is not collected as explained on Chapter 1, Article 4 of the 2016/679 regulation. Neither will the responders be identified, in any direct or indirect way.

The research findings will be analyzed within the project consortium and will contribute towards understanding the impact of the ABC gates as a main border check mechanism, including identifiable benefits and/or drawbacks of the technology used in the border crossing process.

PHASE 2: Automated Border Control (ABC) gate

Phase 2 is related to the step that comes when participants are entering the gates.

In order to enter the gates, the enrollment on the previous EES should have been already successful.

PHASE 2A

Phase 2A consists of the Entry/Exit System kiosk and the mobile device that will simulate the flow for the third country nationals traveling through external borders of the Schengen Area.
