'Take a picture' question type
Question type 'Take a picture' can be included into a questionnaire. It can be found among all other question types on the left side of the screen. This question type enables respondent to take selfies and other photos.
Filling out a survey on a mobile device
In the case of respondent filling out a survey using a mobile device, in case of the 'Take a picture' question type, a camera is shown to the respondent. By clicking on the icon a default camera application will open (provided that mobile browser supports that function). Taken photo is then shown to the respondent. The respondent can decide to confirm the taken photo or make a new one. After confirming the photograph, respondent is then redirected back to the survey, where taken photo is shown to the respondent.

Filling out a survey on a computer
In the case of respondent filling out a survey using a computer, question is displayed in two different ways:
- If a computer has a camera, question asking to access a camera (in the top left corner) will appear. When user confirms and allows access to the camera, on the left side of the screen a camera is shown. By clicking on the camera icon (taking a picture) your photo will be shown on the right side of the screen.
- If a computer does not have a camera, this question type behave the same as a 'file upload' question type. Respondent can upload any photo as a file (uploaded file must be an image type).

In tabs 'Analyse' and 'Data' the 'Take a picture' question type is saved as a link (URL) to a photo.
