'Take a Picture' Question Type
Question type 'Take a picture' can be included in a questionnaire. It can be found among all other question types on the left side of the screen. This question type enables respondents to take selfies and other photos.
Filling out a survey on a mobile device
In the case of the respondent filling out a survey using a mobile device, in the case of the 'Take a picture' question type, a camera is shown to the respondent. By clicking on the icon a default camera application will open (if the mobile browser supports that function). The taken photo is then shown to the respondent. The respondent can decide to confirm the taken photo or make a new one. After confirming the photograph, the respondent is then redirected back to the survey, where the taken photo is shown to the respondent. The respondent can then take another picture if he is not satisfied with the existing one, or delete the picture.

Filling out a survey on a computer
In the case of respondents filling out a survey using a computer, the question is displayed in two different ways:
- If a computer has a camera, a question asking to access a camera (in the top left corner) will appear. When the user confirms and allows access to the camera, on the left side of the screen a camera is shown. When the user confirms and allows access to the camera, the camera will appear on the left side of the screen, and when you click on the camera icon, the created photo will be displayed on the right.
- If a computer does not have a camera, this question type will behave the same as a 'file upload' question type. Respondent can upload any photo as a file (uploaded file must be an image type only).

In tabs 'Analyse' and 'Data' the 'Take a picture' question type is saved as a link (URL) to a photo. The survey editor has the option to edit the link (delete or replace it).
