Set up of drag and drop question type
Question types – 'categories - single answer', 'categories – multiple answers' and 'classic table – single answer' enable use of a drag and drop question set up. When editing questions drag and drop question must be chosen as a layout on the right side in the 'basic' tab in order to use drag and drop questions.
Drag and drop in the 'categories – single answer' question type
A respondent can answer the question by dragging categories from the left column into the right column and dropping them there. Question type 'Categories - single answer' enables dropping of only one answer into the right column. If a respondent drops another answer into the right column the previous answer is replaced by the last category dropped into the right column. The respondent can drag and drop the answer from the right column back into the left column.
Drag and drop in the 'categories – multiple answers' question type
A respondent can answer the question by dragging categories from the left column into the right column and dropping them there. Question type 'categories - multiple answers' enables dropping of multiple answers into the right column. The respondent can drag and drop an answer from the right column back into the left column.
Drag and drop in the 'table - single answer' question type
A respondent can answer the question by dragging categories from the left column into the appropriate category on the right side. Question type 'table - single answer' enables dropping of multiple answers into the right column. The respondent can drop the answer from the right column back into the left column. Answers can be moved freely between categories.
Drag and drop in the 'table - multiple answers' question type
A respondent can answer the question by dragging categories from the left column into the appropriate category on the right side. Question type 'table - single answer' enables dropping of multiple answers into the right column. Same answer can be dropped multiple times into the category on the right. If the respondent wants to remove an answer from category on the right side he/she can do this by clicking on an answer.
When using layout 'drag and drop' (table - one answer and table - multiple answer), you can specify the display format of the responses in the form of frames (default) or boxes.
