Crosstabs
The 1KA tool allows you to generate two-dimensional tables from two categorical variables and look for possible correlations. This can be done in the 'ANALYSE' - 'Statistics' tab, by selecting 'Crosstabs' from the 'Select' dropdown menu. Crosstabs are only available to 2KA and 3KA private package users.
In the first dropdown menu select the independent variable, while the dependent variable is found in the second dropdown menu. The system will generate a correlation table of frequencies and coloured boxes according to the degree of correlation, while the legend of correlation according to residuals is displayed on the right, above the table. If you want your results to be displayed in percentages, then check the option 'Percent'. Charts can also be displayed by selecting the 'Display charts' option. The chi-square value is displayed on the left above the table.
The correlation table can be exported in PDF, MS Word or MS Excel formats, direct printing is also possible. A graph can also be displayed. You can easily add the correlation table and graph to your custom report (click on the star icon - 'Include in report', under the table or chart).
Correlation tables can also be analysed with advanced analysis options and can be filtered according to segments, zoom, groups, variables, conditions, missing values, time period and unit status.
The analysis settings are located in the upper right corner in the form of a 'wheel'. Here you can set:
