Hi, my name is David Đukanović. I am studying for my master's degree in political science at the University of Ljubljana, and currently volunteering as research assistant at the University of Helsinki. With professor Julie Yu-Wen Chen from the Department of World Cultures at the University of Helsinki we are conducting a public opinion survey which will be used as primary source of information for my master’s thesis and our research paper.
We wish to bring the views of young people in Nordic region about China's rise and its impact, and try to forecast the potential increase or decrease of China's power in the region. Research encompasses areas of international relations, hard power, soft power, economic power, country's reputation, and similar.
The questionnaire includes five parts which will take about 10–15 minutes. We would like you to answer questions individually and express your personal views. We will not record your name or any identifying information about you on the questionnaire. There is no risk to you in participating in the survey. Your participation in the survey is voluntary. If there are any questions you do not want to answer, you do not have to answer them.
